Just some photos
Apr 5th, 2008 by Angele
Late last night I was looking through My Pictures folder when I came across a lot of photos I took during my last trip to Canada and that I never posted. Maybe I thought it was too much of a trouble to resize the pictures, frame them, upload… bla bla bla. Well, because I was feeling everything but sleepy [did I mention before that insomnia sucks? -.- ], I finally decided to edit some photos and post them.
Snow snow snow ^_^
Doesn’t it look like I am almost blending in the scenery with my white hat and jacket? *lol*
This is the Royal Bank Plaza in Toronto.
See the unusual *pale yellow* color of the building? Actually the Royal Bank Plaza is coated with a layer of gold, hence the distinctive color.
The Audience, a sculpture adorning the facade of the Rogers Centre.
A snapshot of the popular CN tower while I was strolling downtown.
The University College, University of Toronto.
My brother was showing me around the university campus and I really liked some of the building architectures.
Now the food! Hahaha. Actually those pics are from a Thai restaurant that I never miss to go whenever I travel to Canada. It’s called Spring rolls restaurant. The food is really good and the place is nice to hang out.
Appetizers – Steamed rolls. Chicken satay with sweet peanut sauce.
I usually order their General Tao chicken rice platter as my main course. Yummy yummy!!!
Pad Thai dishes. I like those too. ![]()
This is supposed to be a Canadian picture entry and I’m posting Thai food. Lol? o.O Oh dear, now I’m drooling just looking at those pics. ![]()
Cheesecake at The Keg Steakhouse.
We had this dessert for free because my cousin told the waitress it was her birthday and you always get free desserts at The Keg when it’s your birthday! A good thing they didn’t ask for her ID card! Mwahahaha!!!
*sigh* Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts.

I wish we could have those franchise in Mauritius too. ![]()
Jake the bear.
I met this big fella during my trip to Niagara falls [more niagara photos here and here].
There are many more photos but that’s it for now. Maybe later I’ll upload some more. Until then, have a nice week-end everyone.
Cheers ![]()
